Burns began her professional career on the television screen in 1995 playing the character Peg in the role of a support in the Spanish American teen comedy Out of the Blue (from 1995 until 1996). Burns began her television career in 1995, when she joined the cast for the Spanish-American teenager sitcom Out Of the Blue (1995-1996). Later, she starred in Baywatch: Hawaii, the sequel to the Baywatch action show. Burns left Baywatch due to her first pregnancies.
